Whites Transport and Logistics Services was formed in 2015 by its current owner Brian White. Brians background in logistics spans back to 1993 when he started working in a cash and carry in Wimbledon. Wanting to further his career a few years later he made the leap into professional driving and catering wholesale supply, first as a drivers mate, then 7.5t (CAT C1) driver then he passed his LGV2 to (CAT C) driving test and had a successful career at 3663 doing multi-drop deliveries in and around Central London. Brian built up his knowledge of central London and also delivery points to some of the most famous landmarks in the world. 

 

In 2001 Brian was appointed senior driver at 3663, and this is where his knowledge of road transport law was gained in a busy working transport office. Brian was responsible for moving in excess of 100k pieces per week. Brian sought further development in his career, and became transport supervisor at the now-defunct 3663 Sholing depot.

In 2015 Brian saw a niche and gap in the market for someone with his experience, and decided to step into the unknown and form his own logistics company. Within the last 5 years he has been involved in various licence applications to the traffic commissioner and overseen and been advisor to companies on a 3PL and consultancy basis. 

 

At the beginning of 2021 Brian became involved in transporting loads for Amazon, this in turn gave him the vision to apply for his own operators licence to haul loads on the Amazon distribution platform and this has led him to the present-day. Brian now seeks out and wins business from companies due to his expertise in logistics and distribution, but is also able to provide a far superior service to companies because of his knowledge,Whites Transports can also provide that service at a very competitive rate due to the amount of contacts Brian has amassed over the years. 

 

The Directors of Whites Transport also contribute to the business with over 30 years of experience in the NHS, and Buying and Procurement for the private and public sectors including Hotels, Sporting venues, Bar chains, NHS Hospital trusts and School Trusts. This has benefitted Whites Transport in being familiar with large tendered contracts and with meeting the requirements and schedules of muliti-site deliveries.
